_⁶ ഒന്നിനെക്കുറിച്ചും വിചാരപ്പെടരുതു; എല്ലാറ്റിലും പ്രാർത്ഥനയാലും അപേക്ഷയാലും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ സ്തോത്രത്തോടുകൂടെ ദൈവത്തോടു അറിയിക്കയത്രേ വേണ്ടതു._

ഫിലിപ്പിയർക്കുള്ള ലേഖനം പൗലോസ് ജയിലിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ എഴുതിയതാണ്.

കാരാഗ്രഹത്തിൽ കിടക്കാൻ പൗലോസ് ഒരു തെറ്റും ചെയ്തില്ലെങ്കിലും അവൻ പിറുപിറുക്കുകയോ പരാതിപ്പെടുകയോ ചെയ്തില്ല. പകരം അദ്ദേഹം _'സന്തോഷത്തിന്റെ ലേഖനം' എന്ന് വിളിപ്പേരുള്ള ഒരു ലേഖനം എഴുതി.

പ്രയാസങ്ങളുടെയും ദുഷ്‌കരമായ സമയങ്ങളുടെയും നടുവിൽ കർത്താവിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കാൻ നമുക്ക് കഴിയുമോ? ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഇത് നമ്മൾ എല്ലാവരും പഠിക്കുകയും പരിശീലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ട കാര്യമാണ്.

സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തിൽ മാത്രമേ യഥാർത്ഥ സന്തോഷം കണ്ടെത്താൻ കഴിയൂ എന്നതും നാം ഓർക്കണം. നമ്മുടെ പ്രയാസകരമായ സമയങ്ങളിൽ നാം തെറ്റായ വ്യക്തിയെ സമീപിക്കരുത്. അതിനാൽ, സഹായത്തിനായി എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും ശരിയായ വ്യക്തിയുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് പോകുക, അതായത് കർത്താവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ.

പൗലോസ് പറയുന്ന രണ്ടാമത്തെ കാര്യം _ഒന്നിനും വിചാരപ്പെടരുത്_ എന്നതാണ്. ശരിക്കും? ജയിലിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരാൾക്ക് ഒന്നിനെക്കുറിച്ചും ആകുലപ്പെടാതിരിക്കാനാകുമോ ?? അതെ, പൗലോസിന്റെ ജീവിതം തീർച്ചയായും നമുക്ക് പിന്തുടരേണ്ട ഒരു മാതൃകയാണ്.

വിഷമിക്കുന്നതിനു പകരം ദൈവത്തോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുകയും അവനോട് നന്ദി പറയുകയും വേണം.

അതെ, ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾക്കും പ്രയാസങ്ങൾക്കും നന്ദി പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരിക്കാം. എന്നാൽ പരിശീലനത്തിലൂടെ അത് സാധ്യമാണ്. എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും പോസിറ്റീവ് വശം കാണാൻ നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിനെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കണം.

ഫിലിപ്പി.1:12,14 ഇൽ പൗലോസ്, എനിക്കു ഭവിച്ചതു സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കു കാരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നും എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളാൽ കർത്താവിൽ ധൈര്യം പൂണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ഭയംകൂടാതെ പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ അധികം തുനിയുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

ഈ സത്യം നമുക്കും ഓർക്കാം. നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും നന്മയ്ക്കായി ദൈവം കഷ്ടതകളും പ്രയാസങ്ങളും അനുവദിച്ചേക്കാം. നമുക്ക് കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കാം, അവനിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കാം, അവനോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാം, എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും പോസിറ്റീവ് വശം കാണാനും പ്രയാസകരമായ സമയങ്ങളിൽ അവനോട് നന്ദി പറയാനും കഴിയും. അപ്പോൾ, പൗലോസ് പറയുന്നതുപോലെ, സകലബുദ്ധിയെയും കവിയുന്ന ദൈവ സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും നിനവുകളെയും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിങ്കൽ കാക്കും. 😇

_⁴Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice._

_⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus._

The epistle to Philippians was written by Paul when he was in a prison.

Though Paul did nothing wrong to be in prison, he didn't grumble or complaint. Instead he wrote an epistle which is nicknamed the _'epistle of happiness'._

Are we able to rejoice in the Lord in the midst of difficulties and tough times? If not, this is something which we all should learn and practice.

We should also remember that true happiness can only be found in the Lord God Almighty. We should not approach the wrong person in our difficult times. So, always go to the right person i.e the Lord for help.

The second thing that Paul says is to be anxious for _nothing._ Seriously? Can a person be anxious about nothing while sitting in a prison?? Yes, the life of Paul is indeed an example for us to follow.

Instead of worrying, we have to pray to God and give thanks to Him.

Yeah, it may be hard to be thankful for the troubles and difficulties. But it's possible through practice. We should train our minds to see the positive side of everything.

In Phil 1:12-14 we see Paul saying that what happened to him turned out for good, for the furtherance of gospel, and many became more confident and bold to speak the word without fear.

Let us also remember this truth. God may be allowing troubles and hard times in our lives for something good. Let us trust in the Lord, rejoice in Him, pray to Him, be able to see the positive side of everything and thank Him for the hard times. Then, as Paul says, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds. 😇

Empty Vessel

2 Timothy 2:21("If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.")

Ever feel like we're just a useless vessel? Or do you think so? Then the Lord says "I have need of you".

We know that the Lord made the colt of a female donkey his vehicle. The Bible says that it was an animal that no man has ever ridden before. The colt would never have thought that she, who was not used until yesterday, would become a vessel of use today. The Lord told His disciples that if anyone asks you, you must say, "The Lord has need" (Matthew 21:3). If God used that colt, how much more He can use us.The Lord wants to use each one of us. Today is the time the Lord has prepared for us. As the Word says, we need to become a useful vessel for the owner. For that let us submit ourselves to the Lord. The Lord "needs" us. He is willing to use us. For that, the Lord keeps knocking on the door of our heart, and if anyone opens that heart door, the Lord wants to come to him.

(Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.) Let us open our heart door to our Lord. We can be used. We are not meant to lie as an empty vessel but we are meant to be used by the owner as an honourable vessel. Let's pray for it and hope God will help us with it!
