*★ Who Do You Say That I Am?*

This was the question Jesus asked His disciples.

What would our answer be if the Lord Jesus asked us this question today?

In the Bible, some thought He was John the Baptist, some said He was Elijah, others believed He was just a prophet, and a few saw Him as the carpenter’s son from Nazareth. Even today, some see Jesus as a historical figure—a good man who performed miracles, taught great things, and died on the cross. To others, He is the one to turn to in times of trouble.

But to those who truly knew God, He was much more.

Abraham and Moses spoke with the Lord as a friend. David knew Him as his Shepherd (Psalm 23:1). Peter declared,_"Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."_ (Matthew 16:16).

Now we know the answer —Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour, the Son of God who loves us beyond measure. He gave His life so that we could have eternal life.

Jesus Christ is our friend who never leaves us (Joshua 1:5), our helper (Hebrews 13:6), our comforter, and our strength (Psalm 27:1).

He longs to have a personal relationship with you and me.

Did we talk to Him today through prayer?

Did we listen to Him today by reading His Word?

Jesus is waiting to hear our voice. Let us draw near to Him and make Him our priority so that we may answer His question with confidence: _"Lord, Thou art my everything."_
